Woman killed by ex-partner outside courthouse before VAWC hearing

A 25-year-old female engineer was shot in the head and killed, and her brother wounded, as they parked in front of the Catarman Regional Trial Court in Barangay Dalakit, Catarman, Northern Samar, where they were to attend a hearing on a violence-against-women-and-children case they had filed against her former partner, an active Army soldier. A manhunt was launched for the suspect.
