12-year-old Peruvian boy beaten by man in Rome neighborhood

A 12-year-old boy of Peruvian origin was punched, kicked, and had his face stepped on by an adult man at the intersection of via della Pescaglia and via Pieve Fosciana in Rome's Magliana area. His mother said the family had been targeted with hostile messages telling them to leave, and called the attack racist and xenophobic.
