Green candidate harassed with homophobic slurs at Birmingham mosque

A Green party candidate leafleting at a mosque in Birmingham was accosted by campaigners who called the party the 'gay party' and said they wanted to turn children gay; one man threatened to beat him up. Separately, an independent candidate received a racist phone call telling him to stop putting leaflets through a letterbox.
