Plaque honoring Righteous Among the Nations vandalized in Paris
A commemorative plaque at 15 rue Louis Braille in Paris's 12th arrondissement, honoring Arsène and Angèle Richard and their daughter Marcelle for saving a Jewish child during the 1942 Vel' d'Hiv roundup, was found degraded. Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire condemned the act and reaffirmed support for the Jewish community.
