Nigerian woman trafficked to Mali and forced into prostitution

A 21-year-old woman from Nasarawa State was lured with a job offer, taken through Lagos and illegal routes into Benin Republic and then to gold-mining settlements in Mali, where she was sold and forced into prostitution. Police rescued her during an operation and arrested three suspected members of a trafficking syndicate.
