Shopkeeper killed after intervening in racist, Islamophobic tram attack

A man shouted racist and Islamophobic insults at a female passenger on tram line 55 in Brussels. When a shopkeeper intervened to protect her, the man beat him on the head with a heavy object; the shopkeeper later died in hospital.
