Women military applicants report sexual abuse during medical exams
About 70 young women applying to join the National Army were subjected to abusive and degrading medical examinations in Popayán, where a doctor touched their breasts and intimate parts without consent. A non-commissioned officer warned them that anyone who objected could leave.
