Girl allegedly assaulted by father sent back to his home after hospital discharge
A state assemblywoman in Penang said a girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted by her father was discharged from the hospital and returned to the father's residence instead of being placed in protective care. She questioned why hospital social workers did not notify the social welfare department.
