Swastika drawn on stumbling stone memorial in Rome neighborhood

A swastika was drawn on the informational panel of a stumbling stone commemorating Giovanni Tagliavini, a resident deported and killed at Mauthausen, in the Tor Marancia neighborhood of Rome. The flower box was also defaced, and residents reported a rise in racist slogans and nostalgic phrases on neighborhood walls.
