Man charged after domestic assault and gunfire in Sumter

A man was arrested after deputies responded to a domestic incident at a residence on U.S. 15, where he allegedly physically assaulted a victim and fired a gun near them. He was charged with first-degree domestic violence and possession of a firearm by a felon.
